All of a sudden Man United look like they mean business and there is a real possibility they could win all four competitions they are in to add to the World Club Championship they already won in December. They have struggled to score goals at times this season but now things seem to be clicking and they battered ten man West Brom 5-0 last night. And they set a new Premier League record of eleven consecutive clean sheets. They are already top of the league, have the better run-in of the teams challenging at the top and look like they are hitting their best form so they are understandably favourites to be champions at the end of the season. They also have the Carling Cup Final to look forward to. A lot will depend on what team United put out as they have Champions League commitments that week but considering Tottenham's struggles this season and the strength of United's squad then it ought to be another trophy for United to celebrate. There is a long way to go in the FA Cup. The bookies make them favourites but anything can happen in knock out football and they will need the luck of the draw to help them reach Wembley. But if they get to the final they will expect to beat whoever they might come up against. I strongly fancy United's chances of achieving a domestic treble but I think winning the Champions League as well will be asking too much. They face Inter Milan in the next round and Jose Mourinho has a pretty good record against United. He also desperately needs to win the tournament this year as that was the expectation when he was appointed as manager at Inter. Even if United do manage to get past Mourinho, Barcelona have been phenomenal this season and Henry, Messi and Eto'o will take some stopping.
